Dear Sir,

As a South African of colour, I find your comments (“South Africa’s Smith falls short”) insulting.

What gives you the right to judge Graham Smith? Graham Smith and the rest of the South African team have behaved impeccably on tour.

Just face the facts, your team was outplayed and outthought. A sorry bunch of cricketers who are always moaning and complaining.
