Batabano Awards and Prize-Giving Evening
Cayman Carnival Batabano Awards and Prize-giving Evening takes place at the Mary Miller Hall, Red Bay on Monday 6 June at 7 pm. Refreshments provided.

Sickle Cell Support Meeting
The Cayman Islands Health Services’ Sickle Cell Support Group meeting takes place Thursday 9 June at 7.30 pm in the Public Health Waiting Room of the Cayman Islands Hospital. For further information contact Genetics Coordinator Joy Merren at 244-2630.

ICCI Registration
ICCI announces that late registrations for summer quarter at the International College of the Cayman Islands will be accepted June 10-17. Only online registrations will be accepted for the summer quarter. New and readmitted students may download the necessary forms to apply. School Leaving  Programme for 2005 
Information on Schools’ Graduation dates is now available. Graduation ceremonies take place between June 23 and July 6. For further details, contact the relevant schools’ offices.

National Trust Historical Walking Tour of West Bay
Everyone is invited to visit the historic buildings and gardens of West Bay and see traditional Cayman gardens on a tour conducted by Alice Mae Coe on Saturday 11 June starting at 8.30 am. Revival Services

Fund Raising Food Sale

Annual General  Meeting of Early Childhood Association

Taste of Cayman
The 18th Annual Taste of Cayman will take place on Saturday 2 July and Monday 4 July at Safehaven. For ticket purchasing information or further details, please call the Cayman Islands Tourism Association Office at 949-8522.

Animal Shelter
The Cayman Islands Humane Society announces that the Animal Shelter on North Sound Road is now open, and in desperate need of dog walkers and volunteers. They are also over-crowded with cats and dogs that all need homes. Interested persons please call 949-1461.

Al Anon Group Meeting
If someone in your life is drinking and it is negatively affecting your life and relationship, you are welcome to join us the Al-Anon Group Meeting, which meets on Tuesdays at 8 pm at the National Drug Council, Compass Building, beside Bank of Butterfield. Newcomers’ introduction is at 7.40 pm. Al-Anon Fridays’ meetings are at 1.00 pm at Purple Dragon Karate School, behind World Gym.

Volunteers needed for Hurricane Centres
The Adventist Disaster Relief Agency (ADRA) is seeking volunteers to serve as Shelter Managers, in designated centres, for the 2005 hurricane season. Interested persons are asked to contact 324-3575 or 926-5500 to arrange a convenient time for training.

Donations requested
NCVO’s “New To You” Bargain Shop is appealing to the public for needed donations, such as furniture, clothing, household items and children’s clothing, etc. Donated items are sold at very low prices and all funds support NCVO’s community projects. Membership Update for CITA
The Cayman Islands Tourism Association is encouraging members to contact the CITA office as soon as possible to update their Membership and Contact information, so that members will be kept informed and involved about events, and especially now that another hurricane season is approaching. Port Storage Times

The Cayman Islands Port Authority has advised that they have returned to their normal business hours. The Cargo Distribution Warehouse hours of operation are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays 8am to 2pm. The warehouse will be closed on Sundays. For further information contact the Port Authority’s office.
