Former Windies fast bowler Charlie Griffith visits Cayman

Former West Indies fast bowling great Charlie Griffith (l) and his wife recently visited Grand Cayman as guests of long time friends David and Charles Wight. During his visit, Mr Griffith dropped in at a local cricket game. Here he is pictured with Daniel Morris and Conroy Wright, who were thrilled to meet the great man himself. In the 1963 Test Series against England, Griffith took a total of 32 wickets for an average of 16 runs per wicket. He also attained personal best figures of 6 for 36 during a test at Headingley in the same series.
