Machine readable passport deadline

Monday,  June 20, 2005

Everyone travelling to the US is urged to check their documents to ensure they have a machine-readable passport as well as proper documentation to enter the country.

Passengers with immediate plans to travel to the United States who are unable to obtain a machine-readable passport prior to travel may apply for a US visa at a US Consulate or Embassy. Cayman Airways’ current schedule offers eight weekly round-trip flights between Grand Cayman and Kingston where the US Embassy is open from Monday – Friday (except for holidays, US and local) from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.

With over thirty weekly flights to US destinations, Cayman Airways wants to ensure that its passengers are in full compliance with travel requirements.
