Pet
of the Week
This week’s pet of the week is the gentle, loving and friendly Stumpy.

Stumpy the Puppy
Friday, July 8, 2005
Young Stumpy arrived at the shelter as a stray last March. In these past few
months the staff at the Cayman Islands Humane Society have grown very fond of
Stumpy, with her beautiful warm eyes that are always happy to see, people and
her even keeled temperament.
Stumpy’s tail is just a bump, hence the name, but she
still manages to wiggle it voraciously at the sight of any person especially
if they are taking her for a walk. Stumpy is full of energy, happy to play and
just wants to have lots of fun.
She is approximately five months old and her vaccines are
all up-to-date.
She will make a wonderful loyal companion and new friend.
Please come and visit her at the animal Shelter, take her
for a walk and see for yourself what a wonderful dog she is.
Stumpy is anxious to find that perfect family or friend
for life and would love to meet you.
If you are interested in adopting Stumpy please contact
the Cayman Islands Humane Society at 949-1461.
The animal shelter is also on the look out for temporary
foster homes for all the animals during hurricane season whenever there is a
storm warning, as the shelter is not secure. If you can help pleases contact
Jackie Zelaya on 949 1461 or 326 1461.
