Permanent Residency Exam
The Immgration Department is advising members of the public who were
previously scheduled to take the cultural test for the grant of permanent
residency that it will now take place on Monday 11 July between 9:00 and 11:00
am.
Cayman Outreach Association Dinner
Interested persons are cordially invited to attend the monthly COA Dinner on
Saturday 16 July at 7.15 pm at the Family Life Centre on Walker’s Road. The
theme will be ‘A Focus on Africa’ with presentations from Samuel and Agneta

CROSSFIRE Basketball Camp
CROSSFIRE Basketball Camp will take place at the Family Life Centre from 1-5
August, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, for ages 9-19. Cost is $100 per child.

Dance Cayman
Cayman National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) presents ‘Dance Cayman’ on Friday
22, and Saturday 23 July at 8:00 pm, and Sunday 24 July at 6:00 pm at the
Gymnasium at the University College of the Cayman Islands. Call 949-5477 to

National Trust Traditional Caymanian Cooking Class
A local celebrity chef will be demonstrating the art of preparing a
traditional Caymanian dish on Wednesday 13 July at 7:30 pm. Recipe and sample
of the finished product included. CI$15.00 for Trust members; $20.00 for

Free Extreme District Make-Over
The PPM in conjunction with CIRO is dedicating the entire month of July
towards Districts’ Make-Overs. The second district targeted is Lower
Valley-Pedro from 11-16 July. Persons who have objects which are too big to
drag to the front of their yard, are asked to contact Heather Bodden on

Cayman Aquatics Summer Programmes for Kids
Cayman Aquatics IS having their 5th annual Summer Camp for kids of all ages,
which began 5 July to 19 August. Each week will be various activities. Call
Miss Kendra to enrol today at 916-6722. Spaces are limited.
CAMP JAM (Jesus And Me)
Camp Jam will take place at the Family Life Centre from 25 to 29 July, 8:30 am
to 3:30 pm, for ages 4-12. Cost is $60 per child. Registration forms can be

Student Health Screening
The Public Health Department advises parents and guardians that all new
students entering school in the Cayman Islands, as well as children from
kindergarten entering Year one, are required to do a health screening. This
must be submitted to the John Gray High School Health Centre between 12 July
and 29 August. For further information contact the School Health Coordinator,

UCCI
The University College of the Cayman Islands wishes to notify all prospective
graduates for 2005 that Graduation Practice will be held on 12 July at 5:00 pm
in the Multipurpose Hall. Graduation gowns and invitations will be available
for pick-up from the Administration Office on Monday 11 July after 1:00 pm.
UCCI is also now accepting applications and registration for the Fall Semester
for the following programmes: Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, Certificate
& Professional Certification. Enrolling students are also asked to note that
classes are scheduled to begin on 5 September 2005. To check the college’s

Cayman Islands Sea School with SpongeBob SquarePants
SpongeBob SquarePants is spending his second summer in the Cayman Islands and
all children between the ages of 5 and 11 years old are invited to join him
for two hours of fun-filled maritime activities at the Sea School at the South
Sound Dart Family Park, every week until 2 September 2005, from 2:00 pm to

Volunteers needed for Hurricane Centres
The Adventist Disaster Relief Agency (ADRA) is seeking volunteers to serve as
Shelter Managers, in designated centres, for the 2005 hurricane season.

convenient time for training.
CTA Camp
Cayman Traditional Art is now registering children ages 5-12 for their Summer
Arts & Culture Camp, being held at South Sound Park, 11 July – 5 August.

Cyber Camp @ Micro Matrix

The National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO)
Will be having two weeks of Summer Camp for three to six-year old children
