- Who are these Industry interests?
I guess once Cayman Net News starts to reveal their ambiguous sources
that oftentimes are used for sensational journalism, then and only then
should the ICTA reveal the identity of these industry interests. As the ole
people use to say tit fa tat and butter for fish.

- Improving cruise ship visits
Taxi drivers must be constantly made aware of their importance as they
interface with the visitors. A smile, a courteous Cayman greeting are so
important. I have met tourists on many occasions walking Seven Mile Beach
looking for the public beach after having been dropped way up at the
Marriott. That smacks of taking advantage of a visitor and the industry they
support.

- Police describe gang markings
The Cayman police should have a sweep of all the islands to get rid of those
gang members, if not, you all will suffer, with a lot of violent crime.
That’s the only thing they can do. So stand firm Cayman Islands and get rid
of those criminals. Neighbourhood watches are a big help to get rid of those
gangs. It works. God bless you all on your mission to conquer this problem.

- Local Footballers off to Rio for training with the best
Good luck to your young players! I’m a “Vasco da Gama fanatic rooter”,
Brazilian, live in Brazil, and I hope success to the “Cayman Boys”, in your
stage in Brazil! Good luck, boys! You’re welcome!

- The importance of freedom of the press
Thank you Mr. Samson, on behalf of the Editor. Your letter is conspicuously
very timely in light of the recent controversy. I guess this makes the
Editor feel goody goody doesn’t it sah!

- Emergency Medical
Technicians earn intermediate level NRET Certification
I need to know more about this program, I am a Jamaican Firefighter/EMT-B
and during my training Mr Ferron was always around to assist. For this
reason I am interested in taking this exam and would like to know the
procedures.

- The issue of cruisers in the Cayman Islands
As regular “non-cruise” visitors to Cayman, we would like to add that the
huge numbers of cruisers are not to our liking whilst holidaying on the
island; cruising seems to have a “smash & grab” effect on the small area
around George Town, vehicular congestion is a nightmare. All in all, the
large influx of day visitors does nothing to enhance our well earned rest!
Enough said.

- Compliance - a world of regulation and ‘awe’
I’m writing from Mexico City and I would like to get the e-mail address from
Gary Hagland. I just finished reading a letter sent by Gary to the magazine
“Cigar Aficionado”.
I’m a cigar lover and a philosophy reader in my free time. I want to
congratulate Gary for his very well-founded letter to the magazine. So
please if possible, let me know his e-mail address. Many thanks and best
regards from Mexico City.

- Cubans come ashore at Prospect Point
I recently flew to Grand Cayman to see these four people (the one in the
picture is my brother and one more of them and the others are friends) and
I’m really worried about their situation. First Mr Gary Watler ignored my
person and laughed in my face. I wasted my time with him.
Next day I went to immigration office again to try to talk Mr Franz
Manderson but it was impossible. The only way possible to get him was thanks
to journalist Nicky Watson. I could not meet him because my girlfriend
didn’t give her name, so I had to fly back and never see them. Please, any
information I will appreciate it.
