Less than a week after she made her vows and became Mrs. Pendergrast and still glowing in the connubial bliss, Winsome said life is just great.

Driven by a profound passion for justice, she joined the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, (RCIPS) as a traffic officer and has recently been promoted to the Financial Crime Department where she said the work is a bit more challenging, which is what always stimulates her. Asked what�s in the future for her, she said: �My eyes are on the Commissioner�s desk.�
A mother of three girls and grandmother of one, she highlighted the similarities in both. Beneath it all, she said, there�s a profound joy.
