Hyacinth Scott

The owner of a charming little boutique called the Treasure Chest in West End, Cayman Brac, Hyacinth Scott, said she started the business out of faith over 35 years ago. “As a teenager I was raised up in a store so that is why I always dreamed of owning a business.”

When she is not working she likes to spend time with her grandchildren, swimming and relaxing with her cat Lucky.

Hyacinth and her husband Dervyn Scott have a daughter, Sheena Bodden and and a son Dean Scott who both live in Grand Cayman.

“I appreciate Cayman Brac more and more everyday; it’s peaceful, safe and a wonderful place to be,” she said.
