FC International to host football camp on Cayman Brac at CBHS

Friday,  August 19, 2005

FC International from Grand Cayman will be hosting a one-day football camp in Cayman Brac on Saturday 27 August.

The camp will run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Cayman Brac High School.

This is the second year that FC International has hosted this camp in Cayman Brac. This year promises to be even better than last year with Caymanian football superstars attending to offer their expertise to the young Brac kids. These local football superstars are Carson Fagan, Carlos Welcome and Gary “The Wizard” Whitaker.

Making up the remainder of the visiting delegation are the camp’s technical director Elbert Mclean and FC International president Kennedy Ebanks.

Each child participating in the camp can look forward to getting a new football and t-shirt for attending, along with a wealth of football knowledge.
Brac sports instructor, Mitchum Sanford praised FC International and its president Kennedy Ebanks for giving Cayman Brac the nod. “I welcome Kennedy Ebanks and his coaching staff to Cayman Brac and highly commend them for their community work through football. I look forward again to working with them for another successful football camp.”

Mr. Sanford also expressed appreciation to Moses Kirkconnell, Cayman Brac’s MLA. “Thanks to Moses Kirkconnell for his support and commitment for the second year to this camp. He continues to be invaluable to this community as he has over the last two decades.”
