
A new face at the National Gallery

Kushana Gentles is the National Gallery’s new Education and Outreach
Officer. She will be replacing Nickola McCoy.
Ms Gentles is a recent graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, one
of the United States’ top art colleges, at which she attained her Fine Arts
degree with a major in painting.
She is now responsible for the nine outreach programmes run by the National
Gallery: Inside Art at Northward, Fairbanks and Eagle House, Art Magnet, Art
Zone, Art Outreach Frances Bodden, Art Outreach Bonaventure, Art Sisters and
Caribbean Haven Art Outreach.
Ms Gentles is also responsible for the seven continuing education courses
on offer this fall: introductory courses on drawing, life drawing, acrylic
painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture/assemblage.
