LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Are directors also responsible?

Friday,  August 26, 2005

Dear Sir,

We expected an appeal from Foster and the directors of Indies Suites, Michael Alberga and Darryl Myers. I would take a guess that besides myself there were many Indies Members that were unaware that Brac Construction owned Indies Suites.

With Brac Construction and Indies Suites being tied together and the directors of these 2 companies being Alberga and Myers, did these directors not know how Mr. Foster was running the companies?

If there are meetings for these companies at times, did they not know the day in and day out business of the companies? Do the directors of such companies get held responsible for this large error of Mr. Foster’s?  I would think that if the two companies were tied together that records from Brac Construction would show the ins, and outs of transactions made. Or were those records lost in the hurricane too?

As far as the time share owners not being creditors as Raymond Alberga stated (any relation to Michael Alberga?) Was I to have registered my complaint with Indies Suites? Or Brac Construction?

I had verbally complained to Mr. Foster on several occasions, only getting lies from him in return.  Many people had tried to reach someone from the Indies and never got a reply back. Many members did complain about the situation to the media and government officials. By the time we found out about the sale of the property, Indies was no more?

Mr. Foster purposely gave us untrue information so he could avoid any complaints, so he thought.  The U.S media would have a field day with this! More truth will come out. I was glad to learn however that our invested money into the Indies was actually running the company at a profit, not a loss as Mr. Foster stated.
