Hazel Campbell

Coming to the Cayman Islands over twenty years ago, Hazel Campbell said she worked in one of Cayman’s most famous eateries. “In 1984 I came here and stayed a little less than a year and I worked in Mr Wellington’s restaurant, Welly’s Cool Spot. After that I went back to Jamaica and then travelled to the Bahamas some time after and worked there for four and a half years.”

Ms Hazell said she heard of an opening here and so she came back. “Soon after I returned, Mr Wellington, who was at that time seventy-two years old, asked me to come to look after him and I have been attending to him now for thirteen years.”
