With almost 100 different nationalities making their home in the Cayman Islands, this country offers an exceptionally wide choice of international cuisine.

Considering the size of our Islands we have an outstanding choice in dinning experiences covering the world’s array of tastes and delicacies.

From Indian to Mexican and Thai to Caribbean food every taste is catered for in a variety of great restaurants.

One long established and very popular venue and bringing the east to the West, on Grand Cayman, is the Canton Chinese Restaurant in The Strand Shopping Complex, on the West Bay Road, Seven Mile Beach.

The Canton is not just a great place for Chinese food that’s delicious and good value, it is also an excellent setting for a business lunch meeting.

The restaurant specialises in Cantonese and Szechaun cuisine and has chefs from some of China’s five star restaurants.

Well laid out with wide tables and booths, the Canton provides a perfect environment to talk business over really great food.

The lunchtime choices are excellent with a great variety of traditional soups and appetisers from spring roles to hot & sour soup and the lunch combination specials cover a wide range of well-known and lesser so Chinese dishes.

Shrimp comes honeyed with garlic, mixed vegetables, with nuts, curried or in a delicious lobster sauce.

Beef is presented with black bean sauce, honey & sesame with sate or peppered and chicken comes with just about everything from garlic, lemon or honey, it is cooked sweet & sour or Mala or Peking style.

There are noodles, Chop Suey double cooked pork, BBQ spare ribs fried fish and Canton Lo Mien, noodles and rice dishes, and vegetarians are well catered for too.

The service is extremely good, the staff are outstandingly efficient, very helpful and friendly but one of the best things about Canton is that it is a perfect setting for Doing Business Lunch.

With a well-designed restaurant layout and well spaced tables even the most discreet business dealings can be discussed there.

It is also extremely comfortable, which gives diners the feeling that they can linger and discuss whatever they need to over a delicious meal.

With great service, a very wide choice of dishes and a perfect setting for those that enjoy a true taste of the east, the Canton is a perfect choice for any business lunch.
