Disa One Cool Jamaican

Gerald Smith

Wednesday,  October 5, 2005

A Customer Service Representative for seven years at Walker’s Road Texaco, Gerald is always ready to serve. “I always come here, and he always serves me,” one satisfied customer said of him.

Serving is not all he does well. His friends think he is a heck of a guy. He always likes to listen and is willing to offer meaningful suggestions. “Sometime by just listening you help people to solve their problem,” said Gerald.

Originally from Mandeville, Gerald came to the Cayman Islands seven years ago and found the Islands to be a wonderful place. “I love it here. Mostly I like the sense of security and discipline here. The people I work for are nice.”

Although, he still misses the cool, fresh air of Mandeville sometimes..
