Dear Sir,

Good for you! Thank God someone has the guts to tell it like it is. Keep it up and don’t back down or apologize for saying what needs to be said. Kids today are such brats and it is because their parents will not put them over their lap and spank them when it is called for.

Politically correct, permissive parenting sucks! It’s good for the mental health field and corrections that’s about it. I know, because I have been a child/adolescent psych nurse for years and about 50 percent suffer from what I like to call APD “Acute Paddle Deficiency”!

But the psychologists who often agree with my “ADP” diagnosis are too scared to tell the parents to take your kid home and spank his butt! They would be fired and lose their license. So Ritalin it is. It’s very sad.

Thank God I had parents who loved me enough to give me a spanking when I needed it.
