Cayman now has its first life insurance portal www.americocayman.com The site aims to ensure that customers fully understand the product when making life insurance decisions.

“I initiated the development of this site because many of my current clients confided that, initially, they were “wary to come in,” said Kim Awe, insurance specialist and the developer of the site.

“A lot of them felt that they did not know enough about life insurance and felt uncomfortable about asking “silly” questions, or that I would try to “sell” them something that wasn’t right for them, or even that they would not be able to afford life insurance so an appointment with me would be a waste of time.

“ I thought that this site would be a great way to educate customers about the benefits of life insurance as well as help to allay fears.”
