A key player in the formation of Neighbourhood watch programmes in the Cayman Islands, Officer Cornelius Pompey from the Community Policing Department has once again demonstrated his commitment to crime reduction in the country with the launch of another neighbourhood watch.
Just recently he helped to establish a scheme in the community of Windsor Lakes which was formed at the strata’s annual general meeting.
PC Pompey told residents that they were a part of his crime reduction initiative plan; a plan which, he said can benefit the entire Island.
He encouraged neighbours to work together, keeping an eye out for each other.
PC Pompey urged his community to “step up to the plate, give the police your fullest co-operation, we can do it along with your support”.
His next step will be the launching of a Police radio programme in which the public will be able to access information on crime reduction, this he said will be coming soon.
