Disa One Cool Jamaican

Marsha Gaye Rhoden

Wednesday,  November 2, 2005

As a baby sitter it is no surprise to hear Marsha Gaye Rhoden say she loves children.

“They have a bond with me,” beamed Marsha Gaye who has been in Cayman for over a year. But this young Jamaican really has nursing as her career goal.

“I want to be a nurse to care for people,” said Marsha Gaye. “I love anything that makes people’s lives better.”

When she is away from her caring and sharing ways with kids, she cooks good food. Her skills are in ackee and salt fish, curried chicken, beans, ground provisions or anything Caribbean.

Marsha Gaye also loves the Cayman environment, saying it’s clean and violent-free, and she lives her life by these three words: “Aiming for excellence”.
