Diane Montoya (r) will succeed Andrea Bryan (l) the current
Chief Officer in the Ministry of Health and Human Services.
Thursday,  November 10, 2005

Hon George McCarthy, the Chief Secretary and Head of the Civil Service, recently announced the appointment of Diane Montoya to succeed the current Chief Officer in the Ministry of Health and Human Services, Andrea Bryan, who is retiring later this year.

Mr. McCarthy noted that eight Caymanian civil servants were interviewed for the position recently and, according to a comprehensive interview panel report, the quality of responses from most of the applicants was very high.

After reviewing the report of the panel and discussing the matter with H.E the Governor, the decision was taken to appoint Mrs. Montoya, who is currently the Deputy Chief Officer in the Ministry of Health and Human Services.
