There are cheaper fares to Grand Cayman

Dear Sir,

I don’t know where you get your airfares, Linda, but I let my fingers do the walking through the Web and find a ton of cheaper airfares to Grand Cayman. Do some research and you’ll find a lot less costly fares... it takes only minutes.

As for Cancun and Cozumel, I think there is a major difference between the quality of vacation vis a vis Cancun and Grand Cayman. They are more than an ocean apart... for a reason! Cancun is overrun with tourists. They buy tee-shirts, visit Hard Rock Cafe so they can eat the same food they eat at home... hold it that’s here!

Anyway, Grand Cayman, while definitely not the low cost vacation site for the Caribe, is a great place to spend time... for that reason. The beaches are not overrun with crowds. The island is quiet. The people are friendly and you can understand the language. Crime is very low. Cleanliness and standards for food and lodging are unsurpassed.

Go to Jamaica, or Cancun or some of the other “cheaper” islands. You’ll find the costs lower but the value of your vacation will be too. Oh, and Cancun is recovering from a hurricane so I doubt if they will be back to normal for some time.
