Red Cross’ Candle Light Vigil and March
This takes place on Thursday 1 December from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, with the March beginning at the George Town Hospital at 6:00 pm. Vigil begins at 6:45 pm at Heroes Square (between Scotiabank and the Courts Office).

RCIPS District Community Meeting
The Commissioner of Police is scheduled to hold a district community meeting for East End on Thursday 1 December from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm at the United Church Hall. All members of the community are encouraged to attend. Further information can be obtained by contacting the Bodden Town Police Station on 947-2220.

National Trust Traditional Homes Series
Learn more about the beautiful details of traditional Caymanian Buildings and homes as Denise Bodden presents a series of local buildings and residences, past and present, on Monday 5 December at 7:00 pm. $5 for Trust members, $10 for non-members. Cayman Outreach Association (COA) Dinner

National Gallery Christmas Stock
Christmas stock is now available at the National Gallery’s gift shop filled with wonderful unusual gifts and toy ideas for the holidays. The National Gallery encourages everyone to support the arts and get their shopping done too.

Cayman Outreach Association (COA) School of Prayer

Savannah Primary School’s Anniversary Celebrations
Members of the public, especially residents of the Savannah area, are invited to join in the 65th anniversary celebration of Savannah Primary School with an Open Day at the school on Friday 2 December from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and a fund-raising Anniversary Dinner at Pedro St James Castle on Saturday 3 December. ICCI Banquet & Graduation
The International College of the Cayman Islands will be holding their Graduation Banquet on Friday 2 December at the SeaHarvest Restaurant, South Church Street (Sunset House) at 7:00 pm. The Graduating Class’ Commencement Exercises will also take place on Sunday 4 December at 3:00 pm at the Church of God Holiness, Selkirk Drive, Red Bay. National Trust Blue Iguana Recovery Program Tour
The National Trust Blue Iguana Recovery Program will be having a Tour which will take place at the Botanic Park with a Blue Iguana Warden touring the facility, on Saturday 3 December from 8:00 am. $5 for Trust members; $10 for non-members. Three-night Spiritual Convocation

The Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2006
The Governor’s Office is reminding the public that the nominations deadline for Her Majesty the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2006 is rapidly approaching. All completed applications should be returned to the Governor’s Office no later than Monday 5 December. National Gallery’s ‘Art Trek’
The National Gallery presents “Art Trek” on Tuesday 6 December from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at the former Merren’s Plaza. Angels Foundation’s Christmas Candle Light
The Compassionate Friends Worldwide annual Candle Lighting will take place on Sunday 11 December in Grand Cayman at the Governor’s Beach and at Heritage House on Cayman Brac.  Starting time: 6:30 pm. A Remembrance Book will be available Sunday 11 December on the website www.compassionatefriends.com  for all who wish to leave a message in memory of their loved ones. ICTA Information on locking of mobile handsets
The Information & Communications Technology Authority (ICTA) is asking the public for their comments on whether mobile handsets should be locked by service providers. Copies of the posted consultation document may be obtained at www.icta.ky  or by calling the ICTA offices at 946-4282.
