  • In the Cayman Islands Basketball Association u-25 league, the Championship Series started on Saturday 17 December, with game two on Sunday 18 December. The third and final game is scheduled to take place on Thursday 22 December. Games take place on the court off Eastern Avenue, next to Cox Lumber. Play starts at 6:15 pm.

 

  • The Corporate Basketball League will reach its climax on Monday 19 December when defending champions Youth and Sports take on Cayman Islands Monetary Authority in the final. The game will start at 7:30 pm at the basketball court off Eastern Avenue, next to Cox Lumber.

 

  • The “Teed-off about Crime” golf tournament, to benefit Cayman Crime Stoppers, will take place on 15 January 2006. The event will be in the format of a 4 person team scramble, with two tee shots from each player. The entry fee is $125 per person per start.   • The Annual Youth and Sports Corporate Volleyball League is set to begin on 16 January 2006 and interested teams are urged to register as soon as possible. The Corporate Volleyball League boasts one of the highest team participation levels amongst the various recreational leagues and is always filled with excitement.

    It is also a great tool for building organizational chemistry. Games will be held at the Airport Park Volleyball Courts on Monday and/or Wednesdays (if necessary) at 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. respectively. The League is Co-Ed; teams are limited to one current national male and at least 75% organisation staff. Interested persons should contact Collin Anglin at collin.anglin@gov.ky
