As an international professional services firm, KPMG understands the importance of developing the skills needed for tomorrow’s next generation.
As a result the firm said it is keen to support the Junior Achievement initiative. The purpose of Junior Achievement is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, understand business and economics, and be workforce ready.
Over the past number of years, KPMG employees have participated in the programme by becoming advisors to a Junior Achievement Company where a group of ten school children meet weekly to develop their own mock business. KPMG’s Sponsoring Partner Novelette Ebanks said:
“At KPMG, one of our codes of conduct is our commitment to the community and we are delighted to offer our support to the Junior Achievement programme once again as a major sponsor. Our staff and the young members of the group gain real satisfaction in watching the process of an idea come to life”.
