Volleyball heats up the night

The Department of Youth and Sports’ Corporate Volleyball League opened its season on Monday 16 January. In the picture above, Deloitte attempt to defend against a ferocious attack by Walkers. In the end, Walkers triumphed over Deloitte (25-20, 13-25, 25-19). In other volleyball action on the night, Close Brothers took an easy 25-9, 25-21 win over CIMA, with Education/Teachers also taking a straight victory over Appleby (25-17, 25-22).Youth and Sports/RSM turned in a dominant performance against HSBC, coming away with a clear 25-9, 25-11 victory to establish themselves as one of the danger teams in this year’s competition. The league continues on 30 January, with matches being played at the Airport Park.
