SDA’s East Jamaica Conference upgrading

Wednesday,  February 1, 2006

East Jamaica Conference is upgrading its web-casting capability and has added a live session in addition to its pre-recorded web-casting. Currently, the live web-casts are a series of Bible studies called “And God Said”.

This vibrant and informative programme is hosted by Elder Norris Cooks, the first elder for the North Street Adventist Church.

These days, families and friends are widely dispersed all over the world. “Now, with the new technology, we can include people who are unable to take part in our programmes,” said Pastor Arlington R Woodburn, Conference communications director.

“In response to Jesus’s request that we go into all the world and preach the Good News to all creation, the East Jamaica Conference wants to fulfil this mission to accelerate the day of Christ’s coming,” continued Pastor Woodburn.

“Thanks to PraiseCast’s comprehensive web-cast services, with live web-casting we can bring people even closer to us,” said Pete Saunders, the Conference Webmaster who is in charge of all aspects of media ministry and web-casting activities.

PraiseCast is the company that provides the complete web-casting services. Its unique approach to church web-casting has enabled many ministries to extend their reach.

The live web-casting programme “And God Said” can be viewed every Friday evening, at 7:30 pm EST (Jamaica time) at www.ejconference.org

These web-casts are also featured on PraiseCast’s website at www.praisecast.com
