LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Disappointed in Cayman
Monday, February 7, 2006
Dear Sir,
I am not from the Cayman Islands, but from your sister island of Bermuda, and after reading the “hate mail” regarding the recent docking of a Cruise with gay people, I am disappointed in your country.
For those Christians who believe that gay people just woke up one day and chose to be attracted to the same sex, sorry but you are mistaken.
Most , if not all, gay people we born this way, and from what I am hearing, some of your writers would soon have them all shipped to a deserted island and torched.
These folks are simply trying to live and enjoy an already difficult life and with no help from the so called “Christians.”
My guess is that most of these complainers have never written a letter to the editor, not about rising crime, murders, robberies etc. but conveniently choose this so called “sin” to start having a fit.
Many writers also quoted the Bible, but they forgot one verse.
Every one of you who passes judgment, for in that you would judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things (Romans 2:1).
