
Cosmetic company teams up with Cayman partners

The new Cayman collection of Essie polishes

The leading international nail polish manufacturer Essie Cosmetics teamed up with both the Department of Tourism and The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman to create the Spring ’06 Collection.
The cosmetic firm has designed a brand-new line of nail polish shades inspired by the Cayman Islands.
The Spring ‘06 Collection, launching this month, is made up of six beautiful new nail polish shades, and was designed to capture the beauty, energy, and lifestyle identifiable with the Cayman Islands.
The Cayman Collection includes:
* Heavenly Sunset – rosy-mauve with glittery shimmer
* My Private Cabana – semi-sheer blush
* Need a Vacation – bubble gum pink
* Pink Glove Service – translucent petal pink
* Room With a View – sheer shimmery baby pink
* Sandy Beach – translucent toffee with subtle iridescence
The Department of Tourism is also hosting a special contest with Essie allowing one lucky winner to experience the beauty of the Cayman Islands first hand.
The first prize-winner and a guest will be flown to Grand Cayman for five days, with accommodations provided by The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
The winner will also receive dinner for two at one of the resort’s restaurants created by Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin, and two 60-minute “Tropical Rain Massages” at Silver Rain, a La Prairie Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
Cayman Airways will provide airfare from one of its gateway cities. In addition, 200 second prize winners will receive beach bags filled with essentials for the perfect Cayman Islands holiday.
Priya’s Spa on Walkers Road is the sole distributor for Essie Cosmetics in the Cayman Islands.
