The Brasserie Conference Facilities (BCF) was officially launched on Thursday 23 February with a low-keyed function at the spacious, state-of-the-art professional conference room at Cricket Square.

The event, aptly themed ‘The Perfect Pairing’, is a celebration of this winning combination and the art of coupling great wine with delicious food.

“This truly is a perfect match,” says BCF and Orchid Development Manager Michael Moriarity. “Not only is the conference facility well suited for numerous types of business gatherings, but it’s complemented by the style and atmosphere

The room offers multiple configurations, which can be tailored for different types of business gatherings such as a boardroom set-up for small meetings or a theatre-style set-up for presentations to an audience of up to 100 people.

And businesses wishing to host private cocktail parties can invite up to 120 people to a catered event with a full bar, much like the Facility’s own grand opening celebration.

The Facility also offers a DLP projector accompanied by an 8’ screen, computer with wireless features, DVD & VCR, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, printer, Polycom speakerphone, dry erase board and flip chart.

Mr Moriarity said he is thrilled with the facility’s success thus far.

“We have not advertised since we opened, but our clients and their guests who have experienced our services have spread the word and business has been good. Hurricane Ivan delayed the official launch back in ‘04, but it’s never too late to celebrate,” he added.

The Brasserie Conference Facilities caters to small, medium and large businesses and offers customized business packages.
