John Bodden cruisesinto turn 4

The full-bodied racecars are gearing upfor CMA/Z99 Championship Series this Sunday at the Lakeview Racewayfor some "hotter-'n-hell-chilli" type racing.

\After the sizzling action of the InternationalChallenge Cup V two weeks ago, with Sacha Tibbetts hunting theeventually champion Mike Grizzle, fans know that he is prime forthe championship.

The Texaco "Season Opener" willno doubt have the Bodden Brothers John and Andy on a title huntalong with teammate Frank Williams. But Mark Hennings and GaryLongenbach will also be 'roping' and 'rustling' for the championshipspot as well.

And, with the change in the race format, race fans will again be able to see neat, tight and super closeracing as the Association has at last heard the cry of the fanswith the return of Group A and B based on qualifying time. Gonewill be the loose Front Wheel and Rear Wheel Drive format.

"This season will be one of the bestwe have ever had. The Association members are really gelling. The race format will be tight and there seems to be a lot of interestin the new Hobby Class that we have created. This will be a terrificyear," predicted. Garth Bevan, president of Cayman MotorsportsAssociation.

The Kid's Racing Programme sponsored byScott Automotive will be entertaining and fun as well. New driverswill be NJ Miller in 5 HP Stock and Shakina Bush in 5 HP modified.Admission is $5 and children U-12 are free.
