Burnout 2001 a success.
Dear Sir,
Burnout 2001, the 3rd annual talent concert that was held at theLions Centre on 7 April by the John Gray High School Home SchoolAssociation was a success once again.
There were three teams of approximately20 members each that competed in the following categories: Art,Praise, Poem, Sing/Rap, Mono Etc., Costume, Modeling, and Dance.There was a winner in each category and an overall winner.
The competition was great, with some excellenttalent on show.The audience was also treated to some wonderfuldrumming and dancing by the Kingston Drummers who were visitingfrom Jamaica.
The local act of Gucci, Jermaine and Jason,who gave a wonderful performance displaying the break dancingthrilled the audience. I would like to thank Ms. Nasario Suckoofor her hard work with the Teams. Also, the judges Mr. BernieBush, Ms. Ivette McLaughlin, Ms. Randy Chollette, Ms. Tonya Mitchelland Ms. Faith Gealey who gave up their Saturday evening to assistus.
Thank you, to Cayfest and the Lions Clubfor their sponsorship. To all the parents, Mr. Bounds, the securitycompany and all the police officers your hard work was greatlyappreciated. And last, but not least, to all young people whoparticipated and came out to watch, thank you for making it sopeaceful and such a success. Looking forward to Burnout 2002.
