Cable & WirelessBermuda Launches Internet Service For Businesses
Cable & Wireless (C&W) Bermuda launchedthis week a service called SoHoConnect, through which users canconnect to the Internet quickly and relatively cheaply. C&Wdescribed SoHoConnect as a 'dial-up Internet service designedto provide small, medium and home-based businesses with a fast,reliable and cost effective way of connecting to the Internet,24 hours a day.'
Cable & Wireless spokesperson, CharmaineBurgess, said in a press release: 'SoHoConnect is the most cost-effectiveInternet service in Bermuda. We are the first to offer unlimitedaccess in both Bermuda and the Caribbean region.'
Potential users can sign up to SoHoConnectonline and settle their bill via credit card, cash or cheque.Three Internet packages are on offer: SoHoConnect 30, SoHoConnect50 and SoHoConnect Unlimited, their names illustrating how manyhours access are permitted under each package. Each package alsoincludes up to three free e-mail accounts as well as 24-hour technicalsupport assistance from the company's help desk.
