Launches Promotion to Save on Overseas Calls

Cable & Wireless' customers in the Cayman Islands can nowcall their friends and family anywhere for 33% less, accordingto a recent press release.
The company just announced plans to discountcalls made by its residential customers who make internationaldirect dialed calls costing over CI$5.00.
Customers will be able to take advantageof the offer only if they dial 10-10-335 before dialing the numberthey want to reach overseas. Customers who have registered numbersas part of the existing SmartChoice and TalkAway discount programmes,and who use the 1010 prefix, will receive an additional discount.
General Manager Mr. Timothy Adam said: "Cable& Wireless is making good on the commitment we gave to ourcustomers back in October 1999 to reduce our prices. Across theregion so far, we've reduced our international direct dial rates,we've reduced dial internet rates, we've lowered the cost of directconnect to the internet for businesses, and we've continued tooffer several discount programmes such as this. That's a tangibleexample of demonstrating that we've heard our customers and weare responding to their needs."
Cable and Wireless' offer runs from 23rdApril through 31st July 2001 and applies to international directdialed calls from fixed residential lines only.
