Cardiology Unit Now Open
The Cayman Cardiology Clinic opened thisweek at the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital.
A team of three professionals from Canada,headed by the Cardiologist, Dr Murray Matangi, Jacqui Courneya(Sonographer) and Judy Hennessy (Technician), will be providinga fully integrated Cardiology service for the Cayman Islands.
The on-site clinical services offered include:Cardiology consultations, Electrocardiography, Holter monitoring,Signal averaged electrocardiography, Treadmill exercise echocardiography,Dobutamine stress echocardiography, Transthoracic echocardiographyand Ambulatory 24 hr blood pressure monitoring.
Dr Steve Tomlinson of the private ChrissieTomlinson Memorial Hospital says: "I am very excited by theprospect of this new venture with one of the top Cardiologistsin Ontario.
