To whom it may concern:
In February of this year I had the pleasureand opportunity to visit your beautiful island for a few hoursduring my vacation.
I took a sightseeing tour I thoroughly enjoyed. At the end ofthe tour I discovered that I had left my jacket on the tour bus.
I approached staff from the cruise linethat were assisting with tendering passengers and explained mypredicament. I was told they really would not be able to helpme at all and suggested I should talk to a police officer. I reallydid not think that this was a police matter.
I happened to see Mr. Noel Chisholm whowas on duty in that area and asked him if there was any chancehe may be able to help me. I was unable to give him much information(as a matter of fact none) about the vehicle or very little informationabout the driver. Mr. Chisholm made several attempts to locatethe driver and the vehicle. He finally managed to contact thedriver who said my jacket was not in the car. Mr. Chisholm contactedhim a second time and asked him to inspect the vehicle thoroughly. The driver affirmed that he had found the jacket. Mr. Chisholmoffered to pick it up for me. By this time it was getting quitelate. I did not want to go back to the ship on the last tender.Mr. Chisholm offered to give the jacket to staff, who then coulddeliver it to my cabin. I was most delighted and grateful whenI found my jacket in my cabin some time later.
I cannot begin to tell you how much Mr.Chisholm's assistance was appreciated by me. I am generally veryself sufficient and hardly ever need assistance from anybody. It was so very nice to see that there are some people in thisworld who will go out of their way to help somebody who needshelp. Mr. Chisholm is truly a great ambassador for the CaymanIslands.
I certainly will have very good memoriesof my trip to Grand Cayman!
