Chamber ofCommerce Offers Six-Week Office Administration Course
The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce ProfessionalDevelopment and Training Centre will be offering a six week courseto introduce participants to the necessary skills and knowledgeassociated with working in and running a modern office or smallbusiness. "Office Administration" will focus on providingessential information regarding the nature and functions of officework to enable participants to effectively and efficiently providekey support for their organisation. The course will cover the fundamentals ofoffice record systems, the use of the main types of equipmentfound in a modern office, principles for stock control and mailhandling, as well as office health, safety, security and confidentialityissues. The "Office Administration" Course is an excellentopportunity for people who are either just starting their careersin the modern business environment or who desire additional trainingto enhance their skills and abilities on the job. Small businessowners, entrepreneurs and office personnel will also benefit fromthe material covered in this course.
The "Office Administration" coursewill take place over six consecutive Wednesday afternoons, May1 to June 5 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Triple C School. The costof the course is CI$175 for Chamber Members and CI$250 for Non-members.
