After the first two days of the Cayman IslandsInternational Fishing Tournament a monster wahoo, as well as largetuna and dolphin have been caught.
Some 40 other tuna, including the secondplace 64 pound 6 ounce tuna caught by Harriett Ebanks and a 63pound 10 ounce fish caught by Charlie O'Neill, who has weighedin six other tunas. Mrs. Ebanks had the men in her family alsoin the game, with her husband and sons catching eight of the top20 tuna as well as a blue marlin and several dolphins.
Still in the lead for wahoo is a 70 pound3 ounce fish weighed in by Rex Rivers followed by a 37 pound 3ounce fish caught by Peter Wight and a 27 pound 3 ounce fish caughtby Kurt Christian.

Of the more than 35 Mahi Mahi Dolphin caughtso far, Lee Foster's catch last Saturday of a 42 pound 8 ouncedolphin still tops the scales; followed by Elvett Conolly's 40pound 13 ounce catch and Lawford Tatum's 35 pound six ouncer.
Three marlins weighing under 300 poundswere hooked by Ferris Ebanks,Clarence Flowers, Talbert Tatum andreleased, but points will be earned for these fish.
The weigh-in on Tuesday, April 23, 2002marked the end of the Texaco Tournament. The week will resumeon Thursday, April 25, 2002 with the Cayman Airways Pilots Tournament,concurrent with the Cayman Islands International Fishing Tournament.
Eighty-three anglers on 61 boats are participatingin the tournament. Each day's catch may be seen at the weight-inat the Yacht Club from 5:00p.m. to 6:30 p.m. except on Wednesday,April 24, which is a Lay Day.
