Britam Insurancegives Caymanian employee opportunity to train in England

Britam Insurance has given young Caymanian,Jovella Pearson, the opportunity to train to become an U.K. Associateof the Chartered Insurance Institute. This is a professional qualificationfor general insurance that covers a whole range of insurance disciplinesincluding property, reinsurance and pecuniary.
Jovella will complete her training in London,over the next two years after passing three of the nine subjectmodules locally. Britam is contributing $15,000, which amountsto 90% of the cost of the course fees.
"I'm really grateful to Britam forthis chance. It's such a great opportunity to be able to go tothe U.K and increase my knowledge of insurance by working towardsthis qualification," said Jovella.
Jovella who has been with Britam for overtwo years and currently works as a Claims Representative, expresseda desire to complete the course and become one of the first Caymaniansto achieve this qualification.
