North SideQuadrille Dancers featured for Children's Concert

The NorthSide Quadrille Dancers during the Children's Festival PreliminaryCompetition.

North Side Primary's crowd-pleasing quadrilledancers will perform on the opening night of the Children's FestivalFinal Concerts on Wednesday, April 24.
The students, aged from seven to ten years, won a silver medalfor their performance of the traditional Cayman dance. Featuredin the final concerts for some six consecutive years, they alsoperform at events like the Tourism Department's promotional tourto Ft Lauderdale, International Museums Day, and a recent Hyatthotel dinner for guests.
School dental nurse Donnette Reid regularly rehearses with thegroup in preparation for these performances. Ms Reid, a memberof Dance Unlimited, also works with Red Bay Primary, and GeorgeTown Primary.
Other highlights of Wednesday's programme include items by WesleyanAcademy, John A. Cumber, Truth for Youth, Spot Bay, Cayman Prep,George Hicks High, George Town, Red Bay, West End, John Gray Highand Miss Jackie's School of Dance. The show begins 7.00 p.m. atthe Harquail Theatre.
