Prizes Galorefor Celebrate Cayman Golfers

Golfers can look forward to some spectacularprizes at The Deloitte & Touche Celebrate Cayman Golf Tournament,which will take place at the Links at Safehaven on May 10th 2002 the 499th anniversary of the first recorded history of theCayman Islands.
Format for the competition is a four manscramble. Registration is $100 per person which includes greenfees and cart rental, entry into the prize draw and a buffet dinnerimmediately following the tournament. Kirk Duty Free has donatedbeautiful Bacquerat and Waterford pieces that will be presentedto the top three teams. There are also five 'closest to the pin'prizes and a Men's and Ladies longest drive prize.
In addition there will be "Hole inOne" prizes on each of the five par three holes which includea Chevrolet Trailblazer, a Caribbean cruise for two, a set ofWilson "Fat Shaft irons" and two DVD/CD players. Theprize draw features everything from meals for two at local restaurantsand massages to return tickets to Cayman Brac and Little Caymanon Island Air.
GM International Sales, who have donateda 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer to the "Hole in One" competition,was happy to get involved with the tournament. The tournament promises to be a great dealof fun and will also serve to raise money for the Quincentennialcelebrations in 2003.
