Mothers to Mothers Set for 7 May

Mothers to Mothers invites all mothers to its monthly meetingon Tuesday, 7 May, from 4 ­ 5 p.m. at the Public Health Clinic,Cayman Islands Hospital. Children are welcome. For more informationcontact Nurse Roffey at 244-2648.

Child Month Events
The public is invited to celebrate the start of Child Month atthe following church services:
(1) Children's Sabbath at all Seventh Day Adventist churches onSaturday, 4 May.
(2) Child Month Children's Day service on Sunday, 5 May at 11:00a.m. at the Church of God Holiness, Red Bay on Selkirk Drive.
(3) An interdenominational Children's Day church service willalso be held in Cayman Brac on 26 May.

North Side Wesleyan Holiness Church
The North Side Wesleyan Holiness Church is pleased to presentthe Sign Language Choir "Hands in Praise" from the CaribbeanChristian Centre for the Deaf in Jamaica. They will be performingat the North Side Craddock Ebanks Civic Centre on May 10, at 7:30p.m. All are invited to attend and be blessed by this powerfulministry. Admission is free. A love offering will be received.

Conch Season Closes for the First Time
The public is reminded that the last day to legally take conchsfrom Cayman waters until November is Tuesday, 30 April. Closedseason for the molluscs runs from 1 May through 31 October annually.
The public is also reminded that the new limit on conchs duringopen season is five per person or 10 per boat per day, whicheveris less.

Department of Environment Marine EnforcementOfficers will be extra vigilant during closed season, to ensurethat the new amendments are implemented.
