British Airways'New Executive Club Flyer Programmes Launched
British Airways has intensified its customerservice with a re-launch of its frequent flyer programme ExecutiveClub, providing a wider array of personalized services and rewards,and introduction of 'onbusiness', a reward system for companystaff travel.
BA said that enhancements to its ExecutiveClub, originally launched in 1993, allow passengers in all bookingclasses to earn travel miles, to register seating and meal preferencesand re-confirm flight reservations online while it provides accessto the Club service center to facilitate communication of queriesand flight preferences.
"We have found that an enjoyable andrelaxing trip isn't just about providing superb in-flight service,"said Carlos Gomez, British Airways' area general manager for LatinAmerica and the Caribbean. "It also means offering benefitsthat encourage our passengers to fly with us again and again.Our new Executive Club programme does this as well as, or betterthan, other frequent flyer programmes."

BA said highlights of the new programmeinclude, "Household accounts: Members may now share the rewards.Executive Club Miles may be combined with up to three additionalmembers of a household.
"Mileage boosters: Miles may be purchased.If a mileage balance is within 5000 miles of reaching an awardlevel, members can now buy the additional 5000 miles for a feeof USD$100.
"Round-trip upgrade travel: For thefirst time ever, when members purchase a full fare revenue ticket,they will be able to upgrade to a higher class by redeeming Miles.
"Companion travel: Miles may be redeemedfor a Companion ticket when members purchase revenue tickets."
Members now earn a minimum of 500 Executive Club miles per flight*
The onBusiness programme is a corporateloyalty package aimed at rewarding companies with offices in theCaribbean and Latin America whose employees travel to Europe.
"onBusiness gives companies valuableand exclusive rewards when their staff fly full fare on BritishAirways."
The airline said, "onBusiness worksby awarding credits for every eligible ticket purchased. Creditsare then ex-changed for a variety of money-saving discounts, includingfree travel on British Airways, car rentals and hotel accommodation.There are no membership fees for participating companies, makingthe programme even more affordable".
"We've customized a truly flexibleprogramme for the Caribbean. OnBusiness allows the company todecide which rewards are better suited for their business needs,"Area Commercial Manager for the Caribbean, Elvin Sealy said.
BA said that an incentive for companiesjoining on Business include one year of free Silver Card membershipfor up to 10 employees and upgrading of existing members to thenext level of membership.
BA said that premium cardholders are affordeda range of benefits including access to the airline's loungesworldwide, online check-in and other services.
BA Summer flights to London from Caymanare on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Departure time is 6:05pm for arrival in London 11:10 am.
