Cable &Wireless Undergoes Essential Internet Maintenance
Cable & Wireless will undergo necessaryInternet maintenance as part of a major project to upgrade itsInternet dial-up and email service throughout the Caribbean.
As a result customers are advised that therewill be reduced Internet service during the following two (2)periods:
Between 1:00 and 4:00 am Wednesday 28thAugust for approximately 3 hours Between 11:00 pm Saturday 31stAugust and 3:00 am Sunday 1st September for approximately 4 hours.
During this time customers will have accessto the Internet but not to the email service. These short interruptionsof service are necessary to continue to improve service quality.Following each period, all accumulated email will be forwardedto mailboxes. No emails will be lost during this time.
These improvements are intended to providea new platform to facilitate upgraded features such as the abilityto automatically forward emails, manage your Internet accounton-line and improve off-island roaming.
Customers are advised that Cable & Wirelesswill be unable to perform any updates, additions or deletionsto Internet accounts between 9:00 am Saturday 31st August and11:00 am Sunday 1st September. However, during that period customerswill have full access to the Internet and to e-mail service.
