Local SundaySchool Group Visits Miami
East EndChurch of God's 2002 Florida Adventure group after breakfast atDenny's.
East End's Church of God (Universal) onceagain sent a large group from its Sunday School on its biennialadventure to Florida. Assistant Pastor Leslie Forbes began organizingthese trips in 1998 when the group went to Tampa. In 2000, sheorganized the trip again and this time the group headed furthernorth to Orlando.
This year, the 60+ persons group enjoyedthe sites and shopping malls of Miami. The five day trip, whichlasted from August 12th to the 17th, was headed by Deacon GlarmanGrant and Sunday School superintendent Veta McLaughlin.
