PWD Apologisesfor the Inconvenience
The Public Works Department's Roads Divisionwould like to apologise to motorists for delays experienced onMonday, 26 August, during the morning commute.
The delays were caused by the closure ofthe South Sound lane, says Deputy Chief Engineer (Roads) MarkScotland. He notes that PWD had hoped to finish construction onthe lane this weekend and reopen it today; however, because ofSaturday's inclement weather, the work was suspended on Saturdayand could not be completed.
