Education Department holdsOrientation for New Teachers
On Wednesday, August 28th, the EducationDepartment hosted a two-hour orientation session for twenty-sixnew teachers from overseas who will be entering the governmentschool system in September. Among those present were (standingfrom left): Dereck Mesias, Charlayne Casimire, Deb McLaughlin,Angela McLaughlin, Marie Martin, Hon. Mr. Roy Bodden, Nyda Flatley,Joseph Wallace and Herbert Crawford. New teachers included (sittingfrom left) Selvin Rose, Desmond Campbell, Orville Moore, DesmondWhite, Billy Hanson, Wendy Wiese, Sharlene Demerchant, and EricaGreenidge.
