Letter to the Editor

Even Caymanians who are unhappyhere are free to leave

Dear Mr. Editor,

Please grant me space in your paper torreply to the bitter letter that Trevor Davies wrote in your November23, issue. I can only say that he cerainly has some issues withCayman.

It is indeed, very sad when people become so bitter towards Caymanand the Caymanian people that they resort to saying." Caymaniansare not friendly, Caymanians only smile for the Tourist Dollar"."Foreigners out number Caymanians in the service clubs".

Well did he not notice they out number us in the Churches, supermarketson the beaches and a great number of them make up the prison population.

Come on Mr. Davies lighten up. Cayman is still a friendly place, with lots of friendly people, foreigners and locals alike, butwhen people like you get all bitter and start to spread you makeothers unhappy and selfish. Have you thought about moving to adifferent country?

Cayman is not for everyone. Some Caymanians leave here and rarelyreturn.
May I suggest that there are other places in this world that youmay be happy to live in. You really need to get what is on yourchest off. You do not not need to defend Mr. Barlow. If it wasnot for complaining he would have nothing to do most days.
Please do not take from him that one privilege which he stillhas.
