Many Thanks!

Dear Sir,

I would like to take this opportunity topublicly thank each and every one for your many prayers and kindwords of encouragement and support throughout the 11 weeks ofmy political campaign 2000.

I would also like to thank my team-mates, Messrs. Bernie Bush,Billy Ebanks, and Sterling Dwayne Ebanks for their support andcommitment throughout. Together, we have demonstrated that itis possible to run an open, honest and clean campaign, which doesnot degrade anyone by launching vicious attacks and rumours.

At times, during the campaign process, it was a real test of character.There were times when I had to defend myself and clarify falseallegations and mis-interpretations of the truth.

However, it was a learning experience and for that I must saythanks to the perpetrators, for it has taught me how to handleslanderous comments with dignity and grace. We may not have wonthe election, but it does appear that we have won the respectof the people, and for that, I feel very fortunate and grateful.

I would like to reiterate my commitment to the people of WestBay and these beautiful islands. I will continue to be 'the voiceof the voiceless', bringing information and understanding, asbest as possible, to all those who are interested in knowing thetruth, and what is happening in our community and country as awhole.
