Robert McCullough,Ronald Dilbert

Two Environmental Health employee have recentlybeen promoted.

Robert McCullough has been promoted to theAssistant Director of Solid Waste. Mr McCullough joined the departmentin April, 2000 as Operations Manager of the solid waste section.He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from theUniversity of Waterloo and has over nine years' of experienceas an Environmental Manager in Canada.

His responsibilities include the day-to-dayactivities of the solid waste section and long-range solid wasteplanning. "I'm proud of the section's accomplishments andlook forward to the responsibilities and challenges of my newposition," he says.

Mr McCullough lives in South Sound withhis wife Lisa and their four-year-old son, Jack.

Ronald Dilbert has also been promoted andnow holds the position of Operations Manager for the solid wastesection. He is in charge of residential and commercial waste collectionservices and disposal operations. His responsibilities extendto the collection and processing of recyclable materials and sanitationservices, including litter collection, beach and cemetery cleaning.Mr Dilbert has worked with the department for twelve years, servingas a carpenter, a foreman and a collection supervisor.

Ronald looks forward to his new position;"It will certainly be challenging and I will put forth mybest effort at all times," he notes.

The son of Naomi Traham, nee Christian ofGrand Cayman, Mr Dilbert spent ten years in Houston, Texas. Uponhis return, he immediately joined the Civil Service. His eldestdaughter and four-year-old grandson reside in Grand Cayman whilehis two younger children attend college in the United States.

Director of Environmental Health, Mrs TeresaKuczynski comments on the recent appointments, "Both of thesepromotions are very well deserved. We're fortunate to have suchdedicated and knowledgeable employees working for the DEH andfor the public at large. Congratulations to both Robert and Ronald."
