Calicia Burkedoing well for Lady Knights
Calicia Burke is demonstrating her athleticversatility in her first year of collegiate at Fairleigh DickinsonUniversity.
Participating in cross-country primarilyto gain fitness for indoor\outdoor track events, she finishedas the third best performer for the Lady Knights Harrier squad.
Already this season she has competed indoorson three occasions, beginning at her home school, and also atFordham University, and at the State University of New York atStony Brook.
She has gained success in the long jump,and also individual running events, and has participated in relaysat various distances.
At present, only the Fordham meet resultshave been published, where she won the long jump with an effortof 17 feet 5 and three-quarters inches, and also placed secondin the 200 meter dash turning in a time of 26.7 seconds.
